Hiro learned the tebori technique through an apprenticeship under a master in Tokyo. A carrier of traditional Japanese tattooing, he applies hannya masks, samurai, fish-scale fills and cloud motifs with original interpretation. Since 2019 he has been a regular guest artist at our Istanbul studio.

How long do Hiro's tebori sessions take?
20–30% longer than machine tattooing. However, the healing process tends to be faster and smoother.
When does Hiro come to Istanbul?
